Delete your Naam Jap account
Naam Jap is published by Exocloud. You can delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.
Option 1: In the app (immediate)
- Open Naam Jap.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account
(or Community → ⋮ → Delete account).
- Confirm. If asked, sign in again with Google or Apple; this proves the request is yours.
Deletion happens straight away.
Option 2: Without the app
Email yagnik@exocloud.in with the subject
“Naam Jap account deletion”, sent from the email address you signed in with (or tell us which
Google/Apple email you used). We will delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email.
Delete some data and keep your account
- Weekly leaderboard: Community → Leaderboard → turn off “Show me on the weekly leaderboard”. This week’s entry is
removed at once.
- A group: open the group → ⋮ → Leave group (or Delete group if you created it). Your membership and contribution
are removed.
- A friend: remove them from your friends list; the friendship and shared streak are deleted.
- Anything else: email yagnik@exocloud.in
saying what to delete (for example your cloud backup). We do it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (Google or Apple login with Naam Jap)
- Your display name and friend code
- Your friends, friend requests and shared streaks
- Blessings you sent or received
- Your group memberships and contributions; groups you created are deleted for everyone
- Your weekly leaderboard entries
- Your cloud backup of chanting history (Naam Jap Pro)
What is kept
- Chanting history on your phone (counts, naams, settings, recordings, music). It never left your
phone and isn't linked to your account. Uninstall the app to remove it.
- Purchases are records held by Apple or Google. A lifetime purchase stays restorable on your
store account. Cancel a yearly subscription in your App Store or Google Play settings; deleting the account
does not cancel it.
- Advertising data collected by Google AdMob is kept by Google under its own policies.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate: the data is removed from our database at once and no copies are kept.
Email requests are completed within 30 days.
